Line/Shape
1) All of the photos except photo 4 are relatively close to the subject.
2) If you focus on photo 1 I am shooting from above the subject.
3) All of the photographs are vertical however, photo 1 is horizontal.
4) In photo 6 I used the rule of thirds. On the right side half of the petals they are in the third column of the rule of thirds mark and the left side the petals are in the second column of the rule of thirds mark.
5) The second picture is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer's eye through the work.

Powerlines
1) I did consider the rule of thirds when I composed my shots. In photo 1 I wanted to set the pole to the right so the background could and little bits of leaves could help make the pole stand out. In photo 3 the wood of the pole was a light shade and adjusting it to the left side of the thirds column and having the different shades of darkness from the trees made the composition come together really nicely.
2) Photo 1 is a dynamic composition that lead the viewer's eye through the work. As you look at the two white lines from a plane it leads your eyes to the pole and the utility lines of that pole as it appears to be going through the pole.
3) Photo 3 contains the best play of organic and geometric shapes. The clouds in the sky are organic shapes and the trees and power lines and pole are geometric shapes.
4) I feel like photo 3 satisfies the assignment. This is because it embodies line and shape and the law of thirds very well and it gets your attention easily because of the big pole and what is behind it that points it out.

Texture/ Pattern/ Rhythm
1) I moved beyond the subject matter and made my images deal with surface quality because I took it so close and zoomed it in you could see the surface and the texture of the subject which helped contribute and make the image better as a whole.
2) I feel as though photo 3 is the most captivating. I feel like the lighting definitely made a positive impact on this composition because if I were to take it earlier in the day where there was a lot of light or later in the day where there was no light this picture would have come out different.
3) If I could retake one of the pictures it would be photo 6 because I feel like the background was a little too light and couldn't quite captivate the photo and make it as could as it could have been.
